The department of radiation oncology at the Taizhou Hospital established in 1974, is a highly specialized, full-service department which strives to meet all patient and clinician needs in radiation oncology therapies. Since 1998, the department had it’s own sickroom. There are eighty sickrooms and three medical treatment groups including head and neck group、chest group and gynaecology group. The department holds many modern equipment of radiation oncology, which are line accelerator of Sienens, simulator, 3-DCRT, X-nife and HDR as so on. At present , the department keeps long symbiosis with Cancerhospital in Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences(CAMS).
